Killer Startups
Online stores are stuck in the past. Ever since the first ones came into the scene, the same pattern has been repeated over and over again. If you’re looking for something to spice up your online store, you should give Mology.com a try. This site will allow you to learn more about a product that will guide your buyers through their purchase, much like a shopping assistance would. Currently, you can launch a Camera Selector demo that sheds light on how this works. It’s a very good idea that, if put to work on many online stores, could change the way people shop for items online. You can sort out products by price, brand, and model, much like you can on regular online stores. What sets this apart is the interactive feel it has. It will be interesting to see how well this develops.

Written by Sardar Mohkim Khan May 28 2008 -- Online shopping has its glitches when it comes to buying devices that have a multitude of identifying features, lets say cameras; where the lens, weight etc matter a lot to the shopper. Ironically the shopping sites don't offer a buying deal by catering to all the needs of the shopper (very specifically) eventually leaving them with no option but to head on in the traditional way (showrooms, shopping malls). AnswerOil comes with a solution to ease the entire process down as well as speed it up.

AnswerOil is an attempt to improve this process considerably by by offering a slider-based search system. What does that mean?
